I have lived in the South Hams for over 20 years. Having worked for 37 years in the NHS as a Registered Nurse I qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner in 2012.
In addition to my Honours Degree in Nursing awarded by Plymouth University I hold an Advanced Diploma in Foot Health Theory and Practice and Associated Business Studies having graduated with distinction. The training is accredited by the NCFE.
My aim is to deliver a professional foot health care service to clients based in the South Hams.
Accreditations
I am a Member of the Accredited Register of Foot Health Practitioners and the Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners who ensure that my knowledge and skills are kept up to date through continual professional development.
I hold a current CRB disclosure. I am familiar with working in a variety of health care environments both within the NHS and externally and hold specialist qualifications relevant to people with neurological problems and cognitive difficulties.
When I am not working I like to spend time exploring the South Hams with my husband Michael and my dog Kai (and doing a bit of ice climbing!)
